Mini Golf Adventures is like having your own private miniature golf course! Here’s how to play Mini Golf Adventures like a pro:
Players needed: 1
Taking the Shot
To put (hit) the ball, press the ball with your finger (on mobile) or click and hold the ball on desktop. Still holding the ball, slide back until you see the golfer appear. Keep holding the ball and move the golfer around until you find the desired angle. An arrow will tell you where the ball is aimed. Release the ball to hit it.
Tip: The further you pull back, the harder you will put the ball. Short pulls will allow you to gently nudge it.
Keeping Score
Scores are displayed at the top of the game screen (above). The goal is to complete the level with as few shots (strokes) and as many points as possible.
From left to right:
- Score: Your current score on this level
- Hole: Which level you’re on in the game
- Par: The average amount of shots it takes for players to complete this particular level
- Shots: How many shots you’ve taken so far
How to Increase Your Score
Each hole has a number of jewels on it that are worth extra points. Collect them by touching them with your golf ball. Some are much harder to collect without using a lot of extra shots – roll your ball onto a magnet whenever possible to draw all jewels to you! Magnets are only active for a few seconds, so use them wisely.
Obstacles
Mini Golf Adventures has plenty of surprises. Use them to your advantage to land those trick shots – but be careful or they can cost you valuable time!
Here are a few obstacles you’ll find on the golf course:
Sand Traps: Brown patches of dirt will slow your ball down or even stop it completely.
Spinners: Spinning paddles will toss and bounce your ball around in the direction they are spinning.
Portals: Dropping your ball into a portal will transport it to another portal on the map with the same color.
Directional arrows: When your ball touches these arrows, it will be propelled in that direction.
Mini Golf Adventures Tips and Tricks
Here’s how to play Mini Golf Adventures like a pro, according to our team champ:
- Play slow and methodically, since getting more gems with the least strokes is better than blazing through the levels.
- Lower strokes + most gems = more points than lots of strokes and no gems.
- Take a moment to view the entire map before taking your first shot. If the entire map isn’t visible, drag the screen back and forth to see all angles. Note traps and jewels to calculate your first move. Sometimes the bestfirst move is away from the hole!
- Replay levels as many times as you want before the Outing round is over.
