This is an opportuntiy to own the gaming content business within BoomTV and grow it into a digital gaming network.
You will be responsible for
- managing recurring and episodic narrative driven inhouse esports content alrady reaching 20M+ / month,
- acquiring content and/or production sources from outside sources
- bundling to sell sponsorships via agencies and business development
- syndicating content across media properties and socials.
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years experience leading revenue growth of a media business, ideally within sports/esports category
- Not afraid to learn new media consumption patterns including Twitch, Tiktok and OTT
- Proven ability to close $250k-$2mm deals
- Established network of VP+ level execs across traditional media sponsors (think Amex, Coke, etc)
- Managed people and processes, juggled multiple aspects of business
- Experince presenting opportunies at the highest levels
- Prefer someone with experience in bundling content
- Added bonus if candidate understands esports/gaming
