Warner Bros.’ Metaversus has taken the fighting game world by storm, and for good reason. This free-to-play title lets you pit many of your favorite movie, cartoon, and comic book characters against one another in a 2v2 fight!
If you’ve ever argued about who would win – Bugs Bunny or Rick Sanchez, this game just might be for you. So of COURSE, you know we’ve gotta run some tourneys around this and now’s your chance to jump in!
Metaversus Proving Grounds:
Date: August 24th @ 3PM EST
Format: Double Elimination
Prize Pool: $1,000
- 1st – $500
- 2nd – $250
- 3rd – $150
- 4th – $100
How to Participate:
- Pick your best fighting game buddy
- Register HERE – Registration closes 8/23 2:50pm EST
- Join the BoomTV Proving Grounds Discord server no later than August 23rd
- Prepare for battle!
Restrictions
- Characters not allowed:
- LeBron (subject to change)
- Iron Giant (subject to change)
- Experimental Characters will not be permitted
- Cheating will not be tolerated.
- Macro functions (e.g. turbo buttons) are not permitted.
