Our mission at BoomTV is to foster gaming communities by helping them grow and monetize. Whether we’re bringing esports to content creators, empowering high school and college players, building camaraderie with Team Games in the corporate world, or building technology that makes the metaverse possible, BoomTV believes there is a community for all of us.
OUR JOURNEY SO FAR
BoomTV designs and produces the biggest events across gaming & esports and our esports platform is used by hundreds and thousands of gaming communities. BoomTV owns and operates AVGL, a leading scholastic esports platform that reaches 4,000+ colleges and high schools. Over the past year alone, we have produced over 500 Professional Broadcasts on Twitch & YouTube, 100 of which were premium events, reaching 50m+ fans for a total of 5,000+ hours of content.
In 2020, Dr. Disrespect selected BoomTV to help him build a new, influencer-focused AAA game studio.
Back in 2017, BoomTV debuted with VR technology that would enable an esports metaverse. The world wasn’t ready yet, but we knew we wanted to bring gamers together in exciting ways. We’re still working on proprietary metaverse-focused technology. The world wasn’t ready for our ideas in 2017, but when it is, we’ll be ready … and we hope you’ll join us.
Key Programs/Case Studies
BoomTV partners with top developers, influencers, and brands to create unforgettable, life-changing experiences. Our events dominate the mediums they are presented on and all viewers of that particular game when we’re on the air. Our best narrative-driven Code Red events this year drew peak viewership of 5M+ and 15M+ impressions! No one in the esports industry is trusted more than BoomTV to engage and entertain while bringing lasting value to the audiences we reach.
Code Red is the #1 pro-am series in gaming and esports! BoomTV has produced over 40 Code Red events over the last year alone, routinely drawing 1M+ views and 5M+ impressions across a massive influencer network of 10M+ Twitch audiences.
Splitgate developer 1047 approached BoomTV to ideate and run a tournament that would build awareness around its console presence. The result was “Console Wars,” where an incredible 32 teams duked it out for the $10,000 prize pool. Plus, the 1st place team unlocked a console exclusive in-game item FOR THE WHOLE XBOX PLATFORM!
The April/Autumn Anarchy series is the pinnacle event in Collegiate esports. This year, 3,000 students competed to play with top influencers and score $70,000 worth of scholarships in partnership with Barnes & Noble College.
Activision asked us to help them send the Call of Duty: Warzone “Verdansk” map out with a bang. Our team had a blast creating and executing “Last Dance in Verdansk,” an 80’s themed pro-am event that dominated Twitch and YouTube with 1.2M hours watched and 10M social media impressions. Now that’s a proper farewell!
We don’t just run tournaments, we aid gamers on their journeys to greatness. BoomTV partnered with Intel to build a gaming & creator showcase that awards over $300,000 in scholarships as well as professional opportunities.
The best part of our job is making dreams come true. In what became the biggest program in FIFA during 2021, the LaLiga All-Star Gaming Challenge gave 6,000 gamers the opportunity to play FIFA with real soccer stars and celebrities. Plus, winners earned a trip to Spain to meet their favorite LaLiga athlete for an unforgettable experience.

Our History
Since 2014, the American Video Game League (AVGL) has been a leader in scholastic esports; organizing tournaments and awarding scholarship prizes for K-12 and collegiate teams.
AVGL joined the BoomTV family in 2019 and continues its commitment to provide excellence and opportunity to students throughout North America. We are the only program that offers learning, playing, and career pathways for students into college.
Intel Inspires
Intel Inspires provides valuable scholarship and professional opportunities for gamers and creators to improve their futures.
Together with Intel, AVGL offers gamers and creators a path to pro in a largely unstructured industry. Meanwhile, our educational summits bring schools, brands, thought-leaders, and talent together for life-changing results.
Creator Pipeline
This year, the AVGL introduced creator contests to Intel Inspires, with more than $25,000 in prizing awarded to young creators who demonstrate strengths in shoutcasting, t-shirt design, and content creation.
In addition to financial aid, entrants received considerable exposure on social media and in front of judges from a myriad of esports industry backgrounds.
